History Channel is a popular pay television network owned by A&E Networks for satellite television and digital cable. Originally the channel focused on history-based documentaries, like the historical fiction series and aviation shows Dogfights.

Activating History Channel on Roku

Firstly, go to the Home menu on your Roku screen by pressing the Home button (home icon) on your remote.
Once you are on the Roku Home screen, you will need to scroll down to get to the Streaming Channels section and then to the Roku Channel Store.
In the Roku Channel Store, you will need to browse through the list of applications to find the History channel or use the search option.
Once you find the History channel, you will need to press the Add Channel option and follow the on-screen prompts. The History app will get installed on your Roku device.

NOTE: For free applications, you will need to select the Add Channel option. For paid applications, press the buy option for paid channels.

Once the channel gets installed on your Roku device, go to the home screen and launch the app. On the next screen, you will be prompted to sign in to the app. Enter the login credentials provided by your service provider. As you will be logged into the app, you will be provided an activation code.

Once you are on the activation page, you will need to select your device’s brand, i.e. ROKU. Next, you will need to select your TV provider from the list displayed. If you don’t find your TV provider in the list, you will need to click on the More Providersdrop-down icon to find your particular TV provider.
After that, you will need to enter the activation code in the provided field and press the CONTINUE Doing so will direct you to your provider’s website for verifying your account.
Once the verification process will get completed, you will be able to watch the History Channel on your Roku device.

Activating History channel on Apple TV

Open the App Store on your Apple TV and search for the History ChannelOnce you find the app, download and install it on your TV.
When you are done installing the application, you will need to launch it and copy the activation code that appears on your screen.

NOTE: If prompted, you will need to sign in to your History channel app to get the activation code.

Now, on your computer, tablet, or phone, open a web browser and navigate to the history.com/activate page. You will be directed to the activation page.

Activating History channel on Amazon Fire TV

Go to the Search option on your Amazon Fire TV home screen.
Next, enter history in the provided field and press the Search
Then, from the search result, select the history app and press the Free or Download
Once the application gets downloaded on your Amazon FireTV, go to the home screen to launch the app.
After the application gets launched on your device, you will get the activation code. Make sure to copy it.
Now, you will need to open a web browser on your phone, tablet, or computer and navigate to the history.com/activate page on your web browser.
